December Service Topics

Be Not Afraid“Be Not Afraid – The Comfort of Christmas”

Part 1   Sunday, December 1
Part 2   Sunday, December 8
Part 3   Sunday, December 15
Part 4   Sunday, December 22

It’s widely understood that wisdom teachings offer simultaneous layers of wisdom ranging from the literal-factual to the mystical-metaphorical. So, whether your Christmas celebrates the birth of an itinerant healing, teaching, or social change agent some 2,000 years past or anticipates the birth of that higher consciousness we call the Christ in these days of lengthening darkness, you will find a place to celebrate at Unity Spiritual Center! All are welcome.

Christmas Eve ServiceChristmas Eve Candle Lighting Ceremony

Tuesday, December 24

Two Services.   6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

A special youth gathering will take place at the 6 p.m. service.

The 8 p.m. service will be livestream.

Mark this most mystical and sacred night in the Christian tradition with the singing of carols, the sharing of stories, the embrace of friends, and the lighting of candles. All are welcome.

burning bowlOur Annual Burning Bowl Ceremony

Sunday, December 29

Whether we look to history or religion or mythology, the message is the same: there is a reality in which beginnings and endings are bound – one to the other. Year-end is a rich time to consider those aspects of self which are ready to become as soil to the emergence of the next you on your eternal and triumphant journey as an unfolding soul.  All are welcome.

white stone ceremonyOur Annual White Stone Ceremony

Sunday, January 5

Drawn from the Judeo-Christian library, the White Stone Ceremony seeks to uncover your soul-level purposes for the new year, to affirm your limitless capacity to begin again, and to celebrate the victory that awaits your arrival. All are welcome!
