Prayer:  (written by USC Prayer Chaplain Vivian Baith)

As we begin this time of prayer we take a deep breath, settle into our heart space and feel Spirit’s presence as an ever-abiding love and grace.

Today is God’s day. We live and move and have our being in God. This Truth inspires us to know we need do nothing alone, for the wisdom, peace, understanding, love and joy of God is ever present. We are enfolded in God’s loving presence and blessed with a life of meaning and purpose. We trust in God for every need. When we pray, our faith is renewed and we are open and receptive to our highest good.

Our affirmation of our faith in God upholds our belief in divine order. When we, moment to moment, express and affirm the divine light in each other through love, compassion and kindness, we create a new and better world for all.

Lifted and inspired, we go forward to live our best lives. Thank you, God for unlimited possibilities and abundant blessings. And so it is. Amen
