Unity Theme: Eternal

Unity Affirmation:
You are an Eternal expression of the universal flow, and there is no beginning and no end to you. - Eric Butterworth (1916 - 2003), Unity Minister and Author

Unity Scripture: I give them Eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. (Ephesians 2:10)

Prayer by USC Prayer Chaplain Kimberly Buehner.
Resourced from: Choose Once Again, Foundation for Inner Peace.

We pray:
The Thought of God created you. It left you not nor have you ever been apart from it an instant. It belongs to you. By it you live. It is your Source of life holding you one with it, and everything is one with you because it left you not.

The Thought of God protects you, cares for you, make soft your resting place and smooth your way, lighting your mind with happiness and love. Eternity and everlasting life shine in your mind because the Thought of God has left you not and still abides with you.

I rest in God today and let him work in me and through me. While I rest in him in quiet and in perfect certainty.  Amen.

Unity Theme: Human Flower

Unity Affirmation:
Be what you were created to be: a glorious, shining human flower in God’s incredible garden of life.
- John Strickland, Unity Minister

Unity Scripture: They shall flourish as a garden; they shall blossom like the vine. (Hosea 14:7)

Prayer by USC Prayer Chaplain Smokie Stuver.

Let us pray.

Let us turn our attention to God’s Life:

God’s Life in you, God’s Life in me, and God’s Life in All.

Let us remember that we were created in God’s image:

A light in the darkness of the world our eyes see.

Let us use our inner vision

and see the glorious Spirit that is our true Self.

Let us flourish with peace, understanding, and love

and let us overflow into and through our humanness into that outside world.

Let us rejoice in the knowing that everyone is our brother and sister

and All are One with the One in God’s garden of Life.

And so it is.
