Join us for the “Wheel of the Year” events that will include 4 of the 8 seasonal festivals: Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh, and Samhain. These gatherings will be ritualized, celebratory, and creative, with primarily Wiccan and Neo-pagan influences to honor the seasonal thresholds.
Each of the festivals has seasonal themes that include symbols, stories, mythologies, and activities generally oriented to Pagan worldviews, but may occasionally weave in some Judeo-Christian elements. The four festivals will be open to all with prior registration and appropriate for all ages.
Come join us in Circle, where together we will create Sacred Space and celebrate the turning of the Wheel of the Year to the season of Beltane in the Northern Hemisphere.
Also known as May Day, this is the halfway point between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice. Beltane celebrates Nature in all Her noisy, frenetic, amorous energy. Warmth and sunlight are plentiful now, and Nature is busy expressing Herself in glorious fashion.
It is a time of warm winds, fresh air, and the fragrances of blossoms and green growing beings all around us. In our Sacred Space, we will celebrate this season with ritual, music, food, drink, and “family-friendly” revelry, as we celebrate Nature as the Maiden who is young, playful, and endlessly creative.
You are invited to wear your “fairy finery” (think Medieval/Renaissance Faire ~ optional).
Please bring a simple snack to share (optional).
